All’s ‘well’ that ends ‘well’

Where there’s a will there’s a way. Yes, in a remote Udaipur village four women of a family have dig up a 40 feet deep and 20 feet wide well with shovels and hammers in a span of three years.

According to them, there was no source of water in the village and we have to depend totally on the monsoon. The scanty rainfall was adding wooes. Men have refused to dig a well and so we started this.

Now the well is having water in it.Villagers are happy. The village was depending on Monsoon not only for the crops but also for their livelihood. In india rural woman walks around hundreds of km every month, to fetch water for her family.

You can see these women digging well in the video on my instagram account aadidevbharadwaj.
